FAQ

    • Despite being oil-based, Ethereal is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic, meaning it has not been found to clog pores or exacerbate existing acne. That being said, you will want to fully rinse off the cleanser. Keep rinsing until water runs clear and your skin feels supple, but not slippery. If you have oily or breakout-prone skin, we recommend an extra-thorough approach that includes double cleansing with Baptism Gel Cleanser, giving pores even more attention.

    • Ultimately, this is optional. We've tested 2 pumps on full glam + a longwear lip, and Ethereal did break it all down. We do recommend rinsing more than you're used to if you're skipping that second cleanse. And for oily or acne-prone skin, we recommend an extra-thorough approach that includes double cleansing with Baptism Gel Cleanser, giving pores even more attention.

    • Yes! Ethereal is ophthalmologist tested, safe for sensitive eyes, and safe for contact lens wearers. As always, keep your eyes closed when cleansing and rinsing!

FYI: Ethereal has been ophthalmologist tested and confirmed safe for use around the eyes. Some packaging was produced before formula testing was finalized, so you may see an outdated disclaimer on the bottle. Rest assured, we waited to launch this product until testing was complete. Future bottles will reflect this with updated labeling.

    • Ethereal is fragrance-free and has not been found to irritate sensitive skin. Gentle on the skin barrier, this no-tug formula is perfect for sensitive skin and leaves it smooth, soft, and bouncy.

    • It’s all personal preference! If you’re someone with incredibly dry or sensitive skin, Ethereal may be your favorite cleanser, regardless of makeup removal. Just make sure to fully rinse, and for low levels of makeup and sunscreen, one pump is more than enough to remove!
